Our story
Journey Of School
The saga of Shree Sanatan Dharm Education Centre began in 1999 when the idea of establishing an English medium school was conceived by our venerable founder, Late Lala Amarnath Shroff, the chief trustee of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Sabha. The reins of the school were handed over to founder Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Mathur, whose vast experience and affectionate care took the school forward most admirably from a Primary set up in the beginning to Middle school in 2002. The year 2005 saw the starting of Secondary classes with construction of the second block and the affiliation to the prestigious CBSE Board in the same year.
The system became complete in 2008 when it became a Senior Secondary Institution. In year 2010, more land was purchased and a sprawling ground became available for proper outdoor sports and a Sports Complex was made to encourage indoor games as well. Various activity rooms and an additional library (Reading Room) were availed too.
In the year 2014, the school saw more value addition with installation of 26 Smart Boards and air-conditioning system in the Pre Primary block. Further, the washrooms and the visitors’ lounge were given a complete makeover.
In the subsequent year, the cooling was extended to all the three blocks including the three science labs and all the activity rooms.
The school has been nurtured by trustee Shri Rajivji Soni as the Manager of the school from the beginning till date.
There has been no look back ever. The belief in continual improvement has helped the school to grow, develop and establish itself as the most sought after CBSE institution in the city today.
Our Roots
Shree Sanatan Dharm Education Centre is a gift of Shree Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Kaushalpuri which has always made service to society its primary objective. It is a charitable institution managed by Shree Sanatan Dharm Trust with devoted Sabha Members as its venerable trustees.
It was founded in 1999 by Late Lala Amarnathji Shroff, Chief trustee of Shree Sanatan Dharm Sabha. The foundation stone was laid by the lotus hands of our spiritual Guru Reverend Paramshradheya Swami Sharnanandji Maharaj.
So many many benevolent hearts have always come forward to bless this temple of learning like the renowned industrialist and philanthrope, Late Shri Balkrishna Shriyaji who gifted the Urmila Shriya library in the memory of his beloved wife. Our kind and loving founder Late Lala Amarnathji Shroff stepping into the shoes of his father, Shri Nareshji Shroff, son of Late Lala Amarnathji Shroff has been contributing most generously towards its development.
The return of everyone’s love and blessing has come in the form of excellent academic results and outstanding performance of students in Inter-school competitions.
It stands on the strong foundation of compassion and empathy and will continue to serve the society till eternity.
